About Us

Umoja Village Plaza (UVP) was founded in Nairobi, Kenya to create a resource and collaboration center for the African Diaspora. A central hub where culture, business, and community come together and amplify their talents. UVP stands as a meeting point for Black Americans, Africans, and global allies who want to build legacy, share knowledge, and support one another.

We’re not just creating a facility, we’re building a global legacy. UVP is designed to connect entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals under one roof, giving them a space to collaborate, grow, and leave a mark on the world.

Our Mission

The name itself "Umoja," meaning unity, paired with "Village" and "Plaza" reflects our mission: 

To establish a sustainable community space that fosters business, creativity, and cultural exchange. Empowering members with opportunities for connection, growth, and financial advancement.
